Two cards for my friend.......It's a good job she saw the funny side.

My friend Mavis got swine flu a couple of years ago, i sent her a get well card, but also decided to send two funny cards, luckily she saw the funny side & we are still friends.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
It's good when you can have a joke with your friends & i'm glad to say all my friends at my local craft club (Crafty Crafters) have a good sense of humour x

I love you more than chocolate.

 
Happy Valentines day.
I made this cute little card for my husband.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Items used.
White, Brown, Red & Purple cardstock.
Gold wrapping paper.
Free digi image.
Promarkers.
Blendable pencils.
Nestie.
Memory Box die (Banner)
Fimo.
Peel-offs (for chocolate box)
Small knife, to make the indentations in the chocolate.
 
I used the banner to highlight the main image
&
enjoyed working with the Fimo to make the chocolates.

Method.
I made spools from scraps of card & wrapped oddments of paper & lace round, fixed them to the card, then attached the lace trim.

Hi Cutie ........ Be my Valentine.

Another "out of the box" card,
I've used one of my favourite colour combinations.

Tim Holts distress ink (Worn lipstick)
Large heart (Marianne die)
 I inked some paper with worn lipstick, scrunched it up, then inked it again, to get the effect for inside the aperature.
