I attached the bat to the card with acertate, so that it swings,

I also added a scull & a spider.

(I'll be glad when Halloween is over, I hate spiders)

Put your best foot forward.....

Hi everyone,

I've had a little experiment with altering a shoe,

It's taken me two days, on & off,
at one point I was wishing I hadn't started it,
but I got there in the end & i'm quite pleased with the result.

I started with a plain black shoe.

 

I removed some pages from an old book,

then tore them into small pieces & began sticking them onto the shoe.

 

 Once it was covered I let it dry, then stained it with distress inks,

I then glued braiding round the top of the shoe,

 

Front of the shoe before I applied braiding. 

 

I then decorated it with flowers, these were also stained,

I decided to add a cog, to give it a Steampunk look.

This is my interpretation of a haunted house,


This project started with a box similar to this one,
I got Reg to make several boxes for me, for future projects.
(Watch this space)

 

I sanded the box & painted it black.
I had fun adding all the spooky bits.

 

This reminds me not to go to far with my diet.

I'll start with this rather cute Christmas card.
I love the combination of Kraft card, Red cardstock & corrugated card.

 

I bought these yesterday for £1.

 

 

One altered note pad,

The box started off brown,

I embossed card & stuck it onto the box, then painted it, finally I added ribbon & lace.

Mr & Mrs Snow.......

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well.

Today I had my last meeting in the (Stop Smoking) group,

I have now been a non-smoker for 12 weeks.

I'm really pleased that I've done it,

I just have to lose the 12lb that I've gained.

(Now that's another challenge)

Halloween party bags........
