My painted chair & plant pot..........................

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well,

I'm sorry to have to tell you I've been diagnosed with depression.......

I couldn't go to class today,

As secretary to the Crafty Crafters group,

I've booked a 49 seater coach to Harrogate,

But I wont be going....

I'm posting these photo's of a furniture painting class 

I attended several weeks ago....

(This is where I suffered a bad cut to my head)

Putting the finishing touches to a chair,

I primed it, Then painted & waxed It....

Then the final touch was to sand it, To give a distressed look....

I didn't have the DISTRESSED look at the time.............

This is a plant pot I started painting at the class,

I didn't like it, So I decided to finish It at home,

I gave it a Crackled effect.

Engagement card & box for my florist....................

Hi everyone,

My Daughter, Son-in-law & I have just returned from visiting my Grand-daughter in London,

We had a lovely time.

My Daughter & I also went to Ally Pally,

We met some of our lovely FB friends.

Onto my project for today.
My Florist wanted a very plain lilac & pink card, With flowers on.

I love the sheen & texture of this paper.

I delivered this card today & Patricia loves it.

My first attempt at Book Folding.....

Hi Everyone,

I'm happy to say that I'm feeling a lot better after my bang on the head..

Thank you all for the lovely messages.

This is a project i did several months ago,

It's just been sitting on the sideboard,

So I've decided to share it with you.

I would like to get more involved with this technique.

I hope you like my first attempt.....

I started with an old book....

Covered the front & back with cardstock,

Stained it & Made a leather spine.

Then i folded every page towards the centre.

I then added the "Frills" Made with a Martha Stewart Punch.

I stained the edges to give an aged look.

Then I added some sentiments....

My project for Through the Purple Haze

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well,

Some of you may know, I suffered a nasty knock on my head,

I'm sorry to say it hasn't knocked any sense into me....
The Nurse in A & E glued my wound....

I went to a new class on saturday,

(Painting furniture & painting techniques)

This is where my accident happened.

I was going upstairs & hit my head on something,

I will be back there in two weeks,

So i will know exactly what i hit my head on....

We are a new group focusing on using digital stamps for Not Just Cards so please follow us and show us your love and support.

The group was born out of a love for making other things using stamps and it felt like you were either a card-maker or a non-card maker the two worlds didn't seem to combine
So this group was set up for everyone!
We do hope to maybe get card makers trying out non card things and non card makers trying out cards!

We don't have many rules, as this was always a concern, you were allowed to do somethings on some groups and not allowed on others, 
so we took the rules out and put the FUN back into challenges

We welcome anything handmade – cards are more than welcome

You don’t need to use a stamp (digital or real)
Your project can be real or digital

We just want to see your creations
and hope you join in with something other than cards
 but you don't have to.

We would like you to follow us
The only rule we have is that there is no back-linking
your work should be newly published , thanks

We don’t mind how many times you enter, 
why shouldn't you show off your projects if you make a few a day/week?

and we don’t mind how many other challenges you enter, 
and again, why shouldn't you show off your projects?

I just want to keep it as simple as possible so as many people as possible can join in the fun.

We will have a top 5 chosen by the Design Team
A winner of at least one of our prizes will also be hand chosen
