You wouldn't think it was spring with this nasty weather,

Patchwork card.....

Today i thought i would see what i could make using my ProvoCraft patchwork die.
 

 
This is what i came up with.
Items used.
Lilac & White cardstock.
Kanban card (Patchwork)
Digi stamp (Crafty Sentiments)
Promarkers,Satin, Rose pink, Tan, Blossom, Grass, Leaf green & Tan.
Happy birthday stamp (from stash)
Pink hairband (from stash) unused i might add.
White card candy... coloured with Promarkers.
Balloon stamp (from stash)
Black cotton to tie the balloons together.
I coloured the base by just running a Promarker across (Leaf green)

My DT card for LEJ Designs Challenge.

Guitar stamp (StampMan)
Promarker (Berry red) for guitar.
Ancient Page ink (Coal black)
Glossy accents (Guitar)
Basic craft items, foam pads, glue etc.
 
Method.
I made a basic easle card, cut & layered the images, added lace to the step of the card,
For the guitar, i stamped the image onto white cardstock, coloured it with a Promarker, cut it out, shaped it to give it dimention, then i coated it with glossy accents, then i added it to the card with foam pads.

Use two colours (Black & Red)

Look what i found while sorting my craft room out.....

While i was having a good clear out in my craft room & various cupboards around the house, i found these magazines i've been published in, i've won lots of lovely prizes along the way.
 
 
I hope you find my articles of some interest.

 The second picture is all about my first craft fair.

 
The last picture explains why my craft group (Crafty Crafters) started raising money for our local Hospice.
To date we have raised over £3,000.
This year we got a lot of help from my wonderful FB friends,
I couldn't thank them enough.

Oriental lady..... I made a similar card for Michele Marsden, as a thank you...


I made this card using one of my favourite colour combinations.

Thinking of you..... My DT card for Emma's Crafty Challenge.

Hi everyone, do you like vintage ? well this is the challenge for you.
Challenge No 14.

With the CDs that accompany the magazine,
The shabby chic butterflies & flowers CD

The shabby chic victorian botanical CD.
The theme is Vintage,
It can be a card, scrapbook page or a 3D project.

Items used.
White cardstock.
Brown wrapping paper.
Free image.
Gold brads.
Gold button.
Peel-offs.
Tim Holtz distress ink (Walnut stain)
A recycled Fosters box.
 
Method.
It's straight forward really,I covered the card front with brown wallpaper, scrunshed some wrapping paper up,then rubbed it with distress ink, then i distressed the fosters boxwith the same ink & added the brads.
