My altered book, this is for a very special young lady. My grand-daughter (Toni) is 21 today.

Hi everyone, I hope you are keeping well.
I would like to share this very special present I have made for my Grand-daughter's 21st birthday,

First I glued the pages together,
When they were dry I cut through them, to form a box,
I then lined the inside with velvet fabric,
I made a cardboard cover to make it neat.

Then I covered the inside of the cover & stained it,
At this stage I added a ribbon (Book-mark)

I then cut card to fit the outside covers,
For the front I cut an apereture out, so I could fit my text,
I fixed acertate in front of the text & distressed all the covers.
I also added a lock, my grand-daughter loves keys, then I added
(My little treasure)
My late husband gave Toni that title.

Pardon my French....... there's a story behind this.

Today I decided it was time I got cracking & made a card,
My mojo got lost somewhere,
It seems to be coming back, very slowly.
I decided on a French theme, but to be different, I decided on a French poodle.
When I came to post my blog, it had gone French,
I couldn't understand a word.
The lovely Lindsay Elise Jolly came to my rescue,
Thank you once again Lindsay x

This is the card, spooky or what !

The text translates to,
How much is that doggie in the window,
