The Final Countdown.....

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday.
This is a commissioned card for my friends son-in-law's 60 birthday,
He loves music, his favourite song is The Final Countdown by Europe,
So I felt I had to have this on his card,
It makes it more personal.

70th Wedding Anniversary..... Yes 70th

This is my card for a very special couple who will be celebrating their
70 Wedding Anniversary in june.
My FB friend Heather Whitlock asked if anyone would make a card for her Grandparents,

Summers coming at last, I hope you all have your bikinis ready.
We have a great challenge over at
As you may have guessed our theme is Summers coming.

I paper pieced the bikini.

I had to make this card rather quickly
My printer gave up, so I had to buy a new one today,
It has to be one of the quickest cards I've ever made.

Steampunk dress & hat.

I everyone, i'm back after a short break,
My son-in-law is in hospital, but i'm glad to say he's on the mend.
I've kept myself busy with various projects,
I'd like to share my latest creation with you.
I had some fabric left over from when I made my curtains,
so I decided to dress my dress-form,
I bought it in a charity shop for the princely sum of 50p.
The top of the hat is a bottle-top.
I made the belt with left-over leather & peel-offs.
