My DT card for My Time To Craft .... Challenge #236

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all keeping well,
Today is a bit sad for me,
It's my last post as Guest Designer for My Time To Craft.

My DT card for the Stamping Chef.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are well,
I'm having to rest, due to my bad shoulder,
I went to the Doctors yesterday & he gave me an injection
(That's a coincidence)
I wont be on FB as much, until my shoulder improves.

 
This week over in the Stamping Chef.
We have a great challenge,
Our theme is "Let's get stitchy"
Your project must include stitching, real or faux.

My DT project for the Crafting Cafe.......

Hi everyone,
I hope you are well,
Today I would like to share my project with you.
Our challenge this month is
"Altered Art"
Pop over & see the lovely projects the Design Team have done.
 
I bought this candle stick in a charity shop,
I think it was 50p
 
 
The first thing I did was apply two coats of white paint,
Then I stuck the red candle holders on & finished it off with Santa.

Santa might be spending Christmas on my mantel piece.

My DT card for LEJ Designs challenge #72

Hi everyone,
What are you up to today,
I'm having a quiet day because i'm having trouble with right shoulder & arm.
I'm back to the Doctors today.
 
We have a brilliant challenge over in

I started with an old dark frame.
 
I gave it two coats of white paint,
Then I started the fun bit.
 
 
 
My first layer was Lilac card, then I added two layers of gingham,
Then "Angel Hair"
I also added 3 teddy buttons to the frame.
 
I glued lace inside the frame
&
across the bottom of the frame.
Then added the flowers.

Halloween card .....

Hi everyone,
Today's the day I post my third creation as a guest designer for
The theme is,
 Halloween,
Must have a black cat on.
 

I started by colouring the background with Tim Holtz distress ink (Crushed olive)
I stuck this onto my base card then covered  part of it with Halloween netting.
 
I used my computer to make the sentiment.
 
The skeleton & owls are from £1 shop.
 
 
 The Black cat is a die (Lin & Lene Designs)
 
For the moon, I cut two white circles,
Placed one on the card & darkened the background,
Then I stuck the other white "Moon" on.

My Halloween dress form.

Hi everyone,
What have you all been up to today,
I've been really organised today & had time to craft for myself.
This is a little dress form I bought in a charity shop,
With Halloween fast approaching, I decided to dress is accordingly,

Friendship adds to happiness ....... My 2nd GDT card for My time to craft.

Hi everyone,
Today i'd like to share my second card as guest designer for

I love autumn colours, they are so cheerful.


 
I started by folding cream cardstock portrait style,
I then covered the front with brown cardstock,
 Then I added cream cardstock onto which i'd stamped butterflies,
The leaves were added next,
Finally I added the ribbon & button.

This is the original book. 
 
I covered the front, back & spine with beige cardstock,
Then distressed the edges.
 
I then added hessian & the embellishments.
 
The metal embellishment on the right was part of a belt
(Charity shop)

 There's some lovely quotes in this book,
I shall be using some on future projects.

Santa's on my phone x

My recycled/upcycled box. Whatever i've done with it, it certainly looks prettier x

Hi everyone,
I'm having a rest day, due to pain in my neck & shoulder.
Thank you for all the kind messages x
 
I started this box several days ago.
I stripped it down & gave it a coat of paint,
I decided I wanted it to be a sewing box,
So I filled the lid accordingly,
Then I decorated the box with ribbon & lace.
I think it looks much prettier now.

This is how the box looked when I bought it from a charity shop,
It was a very soft pink colour.
 
I stripped it down & gave it a coat of paint
(Calm white)
I enjoyed filling the lid with sewing items.

Steampunk Box .........

Hi everyone,
I hope you are keeping well,
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
I would like to share another box with you.
 
 
I started with a plain brown box,
Stained it, then stamped on it & added embellishments.
 
The flowers are from my stash.
I made the rosette with white netting stained with distress ink.
 
I bought all these for £3
I knew they would come in handy.
I used the amber stone in the centre.
 
I think it goes quite well with the box.
 
The "Feet" are wooden beads.
