Friends are angels .......

Hi everyone,
Today's make is something I bought in a charity shop,
It's a little book by Helen Exley,
It's all about smiles & would make a perfect gift for a friend.

I would like to enter this project into the following challenges.

This is the original book. 
 
I covered the front, back & spine with beige cardstock,
Then distressed the edges.
 
I then added hessian & the embellishments.
 
The metal embellishment on the right was part of a belt
(Charity shop) 
 
Inside view. 
 
 There's some lovely quotes in this book,
I shall be using some on future projects.
