My recycled/upcycled box. Whatever i've done with it, it certainly looks prettier x

Hi everyone,
I'm having a rest day, due to pain in my neck & shoulder.
Thank you for all the kind messages x

I started this box several days ago.
I stripped it down & gave it a coat of paint,
I decided I wanted it to be a sewing box,
So I filled the lid accordingly,
Then I decorated the box with ribbon & lace.
I think it looks much prettier now.

I would like to enter this project into the following challenges.

This is how the box looked when I bought it from a charity shop,
It was a very soft pink colour.

I stripped it down & gave it a coat of paint
(Calm white)
I enjoyed filling the lid with sewing items.

The original inside.

The finished box,
complete with sewing items.

Items used.
Box (Charity shop £1-50)
Lace & Ribbon (Local Fabric Shop)
Paint (Calm White) Wilco colour tester.
All the contents in the lid are from my stash.
Whoops... I almost forgot (Hessian) to line the lid.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog,
Your comments mean so much to me.

Lots of love,
Sylvia x
