Birthday Buoy

    I would like to enter this card into
    LEJ Designs - Challenge 7 - Daddy Dearest/ Male projects.
    Items used.
    White cardstock, Various stamps, Nesties, Tim Holtz distress inks (Aged Mahogany, Black Soot,Vintage Photo) Nautical Button, Brown wrapping paper.
    I squeezed the wrapping paper up, opened it out, Then swiped ink over, this gave it the raised effect i was after.For the image on the right, i burnt round the edges with a lighter (If you try this, Please be careful).... I hope you like the finished result x

    An absolutely fantastic "Buoys" card! Love the vintage feel you've done here. Love the crinkled paper - and I would never have dreamed of burning the edges - great idea and must have a go. (Think that you've brought out the Pyromania in me!!)
