My 1st attemps at an altered box

26 comments:

  1. I started with a plain brown box, then i stuck strips of brown wrapping paper onto it & used Tim Holtzs Distress inks (Forest Moss & Rusty Hinge)to give it a distressed look, I then added the strip of gems (from my local Haberdashery store) & finished with a lace rosette topper with a gem x

  2. Hello Sylvia, I hope you are well... For your first attempt this is simply divine. I am loving the paper you used and then distressed, the gems and that rosette is beautiful too.

  18. Fabulous altered art, Sylvia. There is just something about boxes isn't there? Your embellishments make it a bit special but I just love the work you have done with the wrapping paper and inks you have really altered the paper too and produced this lovely effect. A wonderful creation. Vee xx
