Frame at last !!!!!!

Hello everyone,
A warm welcome to my new followers,
I hope some of my projects inspire you....
I hope yo're not getting fed up with seeing my altered projects,
I just can't stop doing them.
This is my latest...
It's also a SECRET Christmas present for my daughter.
I know I can count on you,
not to let the cat out of the bag, So to speak.

Thank you all so much for the well wishes for Reg,
He is fine thanks,
He has to have some more tests.

I would like to enter this project into the following challenges.
That Craft Place Blog - Girls .... No Pink....
Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #117 - Anything Goes with a Sentiment
Scribble & Scrap Challenge - Challenge 29 - Anything goes
Quirky Crafts - #21 - Frame It 25/10

This is how my project started.
I can't remember where I bought this frame,
It was one of many in the loft.

I used Burlap to create the texture.

Method.
I dismantled the frame & coated it with Gesso.
Added my embellishments & also gave them a coat of Gesso.
When it was completely dry, I finished with two coats of paint.
I stamped in insert
I thought my daughter would like...
She will of course be putting a photograph in.

Items used.
Photo Frame.
Gesso. (That Craft Place)
Acrylic Paint (Burnt Umber)
Assorted Beads, Buttons & a piece from an old belt.
Burlap (To create the texture)
Stamp (Clarity)
